| INVESTIGATION HIGHLIGHTS: 07/06/2001 Time was 8:15 pm. Weather conditions were good, clear and 72 degrees. All other equipment readings were normal. Scenic overlook (Delta & Oneida Lakes can be seen from this point on a clear day.) Pictures include: Vortex Orbs, Orange / red, in woods across the road 07/20/2001 Time was 8:30 pm. Weather conditions were good, clear and 70 degrees. All equipment readings were normal. Pen Mount Cemetery: We were leaving the cemetery and as we exited it, to our right, we saw taillights of a car going down the road. It had not driven past us. Nor was there anywhere that the vehicle could have come from or turned around at. Nothing about this was freighting, just strange. 08/02/2004 Time was 7:15 pm. Weather conditions were clear, sunny and 70 degrees. All equipment readings were normal. Penn Mountain Road is now marked as State Forest land. Between the Scenic overlook and the cemetery, we located a collapsing stone house or barn foundation with trees in and around location. Estimate about 75 year old trees growing in the center of the foundation. Cemetery has been vandalized. Many stones smashed with rebar marks left on many. An old circle of stones has been located behind the cemetery. There is no indication of what the circle had been used for. Some trees have grown inside the circle. No markings of any kind are present. No witch writing or any other evidence was present. 08/09/2004 Time was 5:00 pm. Weather conditions were partly sunny and 65 degrees with a slight breeze. All equipment readings were normal. Interviews: 1. We interviewed four people at the overlook. They blame the taillight story on the “Hatcher” case. Rumor has it that in the 1970’s Hatcher tied his victim, Mary, to the back of his car and dragged her up and down the road until she died. 2. We interviewed a New York State Trooper who had responded to the Hatcher incident. It happened on Potato Hill Road not Penn Mountain Road. Past the cemetery, we located two currently occupied camps in area. We also located one poured foundation and a hand dug well about 7 feet deep. The building has been gone a long time. Many trees are growing in the foundation. Estimated tree age is about 50 + years. |
