Weather Phenomena: NA Equipment used: Color digital cameras, color 35mm cameras, video camcorder with super night shot, night vision video cameras with TV / VCR, standard cassette tape recorders, EMF meters, ELF meters. Video: In upstairs bedroom (the bed)- · “Tap Tap” is heard on the tape. Sounds like metal tapping on glass. · An orb floats by and it’s reflection shows in the window across the room. Photo: Small orbs Audio: Normal Other equipment: In upstairs bedroom (the bed)- · Bedroom temperature is 78 º F. The entrance to the closet is 39 º F. Special Note: Coe dogs barking in distance, but relatively close. There was a feeling of being watched (both inside and out). Synopsis A potential owner contacted an IMOVES member. Our synopsis is as follows: A small, young family consisting of Dad, Mom and infant were preparing to purchase a home. They felt this farmhouse was ideal for their young family. Mom and baby have been stopping over to do some cleaning and painting during the day when Dad is at work. Dad and others stopped by to work on the house at night. Mom was uncomfortable in the house alone. She felt like she was being watched. She started to notice strange things happening in the home while she was there with the baby. In addition, the headboard of the bed gave her an eerie feeling and the wood grain looked like a devil’s face. Description of property: · The house was located in a sparsely populated area on a large lot with several other old buildings on the property. · There are close neighbors but not many houses in this grouping. · On the property is a small cemetery with broken headstones with some Military markers and flags. It is a short walking distance from the home. · Although the home appeared in good repair, it still requires some minor maintenance to make the home suitable to move in (new paint, bathroom updates, etc.). · A well is located close to the home. Description of house: · About 100 years old · Two stories plus a small basement, no attic · Small, cozy rooms with low ceilings and a custom fire place in living room · Second floor rooms have slanted ceilings and dormers. · One closet on second floor had a small crawl space for storage (typical in this type of farmhouse) · Large, single stall attached garage with old wooden school lockers used for storage. · Updated electrical wiring · The personality of the previous owners was evident in the home. · Several pieces of the previous owners furniture goes with the house, including an old bedroom set that had been in that family for generations (the wood grain looked like a devil’s face). History of house: · On an extremely hot summer day, an elderly woman (previous owner) had passed away in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Special notes: · Upon arrival, there were many neighbors outside enjoying the evening. · The howling of Coe dogs could be heard in the distance. · Many IMOVES members could sense being watched. Summation In this case, our findings were inconclusive. Although our findings did not uncover the exact reason for the uneasiness felt by the potential owners, we could not tell them there was nothing there. Since they were convinced there was a presence that would make live difficult for them, our best advice was to go with their own feelings. If they were going to feel uncomfortable living in that house, perhaps they should reconsider purchasing that property. Conclusion This couple did not purchase the property. They now reside happily in a home of their own, in another location. |
