APPARITION:
The appearance of a dead person or animal. Ghost

BAITING:
A method using fragrances, chimes, chants and other factors to encourage ghostly activity.

ORB:
A non-visible form of energy of unknown origin that has been photographed. They are usually round, bright and solid in appearance and cannot be explained as a camera flaw or a naturally occurring phenomenon such as dust, water or pollen.

POINTS OF INTEREST:
Areas located through eyewitness accounts, member sensitivity, and the unexplained presence of orbs on pictures and video. All three methods help to locate an area that may be high in paranormal activity but are not proof of this activity. Once a point of interest is located, equipment is set up to collect data that may confirm the activity.

POLTERGEIST:
A playful, possibly evil ghost that is responsible for physical disturbances such as moving objects, banging, rapping and sometimes assaults on humans.
